About us

Adoptees with Guatemalan Roots is a community for Guatemalan adoptees, run by Guatemalan adoptees.

We are a global community of people adopted from Guatemala. Around 50,000 people were adopted from Guatemala before international adoption closed in 2008, and many of us share questions of identity and belonging. We seek to build community and provide resources for Guatemalan adoptees, and to help each other connect to our roots in Guatemala.
